One day closer...

By this time next week we will be pulling into Dallas, TX.  Little by little launch date is closing in.

Did I mention that I am excited!

My lovely  wife brought home a present.  She works at a t-shirt print shop and brought home a black long sleeve t-shirt with a cool "Army Strong" logo on it for me to wear on the ride.  She is sooo cool.  I think I will need it...along with my chore coat.

Justin posted on Facebook today that it is 58 deg at his place in Missouri today.  58 deg is great when your sitting still.  But at 70 miles and hour it might be a little chilly.

Aside from talking to John a little about the ride the only thing I have done today to prepare is start mapping our route and Googling gas stations along the way.  This is going to be an important detail.  Ken's bike is the Harley V-Rod.  It goes about 100 miles between fill ups.  We are going to make "alot" of fuel stops.  My guess it that after the first 400 miles I will be grateful for the stops every 100 miles.

It's late and I am tired.  Headed to bed.

Talk to you tomorrow
